The price for our souvenir wildlife photos includes a printed copy of your photo, which is presented in a souvenir folder, as well as a digital download of your photo for free, which is great for sharing with friends and family. Please allow up to 12 hours for the photos to be uploaded.
Kuranda Koala Gardens are one of the few places in Australia where you can pat a Koala for a souvenir photo (extra cost and conditions apply). Please note to ensure our koalas remain well rested, there is limited daily capacity for our koala patting photos. Please ask Admissions on day of arrival.
The Koala Patting Photo opportunity is available for individuals, as well as groups of friends and family to a maximum of 5 people per photo. Individuals may also choose a Python Holding Photo.
For every photo purchased $2 goes to the North Queensland Wildlife Trust – for the conservation and research of native fauna, wildlife care and local habitats. Funds raised include protection and care for wild Koalas.
